About

Dr. Jeff Petrusek is a board-certified otolaryngologist with experience in the evaluation and medical/surgical treatment of a wide range of adult and pediatric ear nose and throat conditions. 

He earned his medical degree, magna cum laude, from Loyola University, Chicago. There, he was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society.  He completed his Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery residency at Loyola University Chicago and gained extensive experience treating patients at both the academic medical center, and at Hines VA Hospital.  At Good Shepherd Hospital, he serves on the Surgical Steering committee, focusing on efficient utilization of resources, medical collaboration, and patient safety.  In his free time he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and young children.

Dr. Petrusek values collaborative, shared medical decision making. He believes the best care starts with listening to the patient and setting clear goals and expectations for treatment.   Patients can expect thoughtful, personalized treatment plans and clear explanations of tests, medications or surgical treatments.  He has a special interest in offering minimally invasive, in-office solutions, when appropriate.
